Although she looks like a tri-color, we found out she is a Cryptic Blue when we bred her to a Pure For Sable dog and got 2 Sable Merle puppies! Salsa has both her US Majors and only requires 3 singles to finish that elusive American Championship. We are forever indebted to Laura for so generously sharing Salsa with us. She finished her Can Championship at 10 months of age with multiple Puppy Group wins, a Best Puppy in Show and a Best of Breed win over seasoned specials. She produced 5 Can Champions, 1 American Champion and 2 UKC Champions. Annie is now retired and living with Donette in Prescott, Arizona along with her son, Ch. CHAMPION Wildwest Besos de Shelgrande (Kisses) (BPIS Ch. Shelgrande's Annie Banany ROMC x Am Ch Summerlove Ace Up Your Sleeve) Co-bred with our good friend Laura Willson (Wildwest Shelties), this stunning Pure For Sable bitch is an Annie daughter. On her way to her Canadian Championship, Kisses was never defeated in her classes. Her debut performance in Spring of 2010 netted her a WB/BW/BOS. Her next time out was the 2010 Canadian National where she won her strong Bred By Exhibitor Class. Then in July, 2010 at our Vernon & District Kennel Club show she won Winners Bitch all three days and Best of Winners on Sunday to complete her Championship in style. Kisses gave us 4 beautiful babies in February 2011. Watch for her sons, Shelgrande Livin' On The Edge (Tyler) and Shelgrande Just a Gigalo (Gigalo) in the rings in the Summer of 2011. |
| Am/Can Ch. Shelgrande Dury Voe Dulce Vita (Am Can Ch. Cynchar Shelgrande Blackwatch x Dury Voe Oceana) Dulce is our blue bombshell. She is a very endearing young lady and has a sound body and a beautiful head. She completed her Canadian Championship never beaten in the classes. She placed Reserve Winners Female at the Alberta Shetland Sheepdog and Collie Association Specialty in Calgary in January 2009. She then went on to finish her Can Ch. at her next two shows. Dulce also finished her American Championship with 3 majors - one a Specialty Major and 2 all breed majors. She finished her American title in less than a year. Unfortunately, I was never provided with a copy of any of her wins to her Am. Ch. but someone was kind enough to forward me a candid shot of her in the ring. |
